Release 0.3.0 - 0.3.3

Zorven 0.3.0 - 0.3.3: new desktop app, account deletion and data export, 60 FPS screen sharing, emails in four languages and safer mail

A summary of releases 0.3.0 to 0.3.3. Your client updates automatically; run zorven update to update manually. The CLI and the desktop app ship with the same version number. The macOS desktop app stays at 0.3.2 for this round; 0.3.3 is coming soon.

Desktop app

  • New interface: sidebar, frameless window and a quick panel from the tray icon.
  • macOS and Linux: the desktop app is now available on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon in one package) and Linux.
  • Auto-connect: in Settings > General you can choose to connect with your saved account when the app starts.
  • Zorven Apps node: with "Allow Zorven Apps deployments on this device" the desktop app can run apps too (Docker required).
  • Private sharing page: zorven share and zorven access are now in the desktop app; manage your shares and the services you can reach from one screen.
  • The CLI and the desktop app no longer erase each other's settings in the shared configuration file.

Screen sharing

  • 60 FPS: on Team and Enterprise plans viewers can pick 45 or 60 FPS (client 0.3.3 required). Other plans stay at 30 FPS.

Account and privacy

  • Delete account: from the Danger zone on the Profile page, confirmed by email. If you are the only owner of an organization with other members, you are asked to transfer ownership first.
  • Download my data: export your personal data as JSON.
  • Active sessions: see where you are signed in on the Security page and end sessions one by one or all at once.
  • Emails in four languages: verification, password reset, two-factor code and invitation emails arrive in your panel language.
  • The two-factor email code is now valid for 5 minutes and stored as a hash.

Tunnels

  • Temporary tunnels from the panel: create time-limited tunnels on the Tunnels page. An expired tunnel is kept closed for 24 hours, then deleted together with its name.
  • Raw TCP and UDP load balancing: when several clients serve the same tunnel, connections are spread across them and fail over if one stops responding.
  • Log export destinations are now managed in the panel (Team and above).
  • Visitor sign-in pages are now available in Japanese.

Mail

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks on incoming mail; suspicious messages go to the Junk folder.
  • The incoming mail server now offers encrypted connections (STARTTLS).

Zorven Apps

  • Private image registry credentials (from the Secret Vault) and Git submodules.

API and client

  • Chinese API reference; OpenAPI updated in all four languages.
  • New in 0.3.0: session takeover on reconnect, zorven status, zorven doctor, zorven logs, zorven login and update rollback.
